Ways to Skin a Cat: #80 Flaying

Oh I am sorry I didn’t realise you were of such a sensitive disposition, I really should have given you warning. My apologies. What’s that? You really must be going? I hope it wasn’t anything I did? Well if you are sure…

Thanks for stopping by.

Ice, Ice Baby!

Welcome back,

Now how’s that for a bitch of an ear worm? I know you are already hating me for that one but just think of the loathing you will feel when Vanilla Ice is still running through your head at 4am tomorrow morning. No need to thank me.

So I guess we have time for a bit of shameless self promotion before hitting you with today’s comedic gem- I have a guest comic up at Milton’s Life which is well worth seeing if I do say so myself.

Ways to Skin a Cat #72: The freeze and smash.

Don’t you just love it?

Thanks for stopping by.

Don’t fight it son. Confess quickly! If you hold out too long you could jeopardize your credit rating.

How do you do?

Pack your bags for another trip, today we are hitting South America as “Cat Breeds of The World” continues:

Cat Breeds of the World #3: Brazilian Shorthair.

Thanks for stopping by.

EDIT: As it appears nobody has made the connection I might as well tell you; the title to this post is a quote from Terry Gilliam’s Brazil.

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind.

What ho!

Well I don’t know about you, but I feel like a little more cruelty to animals:

Ways to Skin a Cat #85: The Wind Tunnel.

That’s the way to do it.

P.S. Is it just me or have these posts got a lot lazier in recent weeks? Ah bugger it, you only really come for the comics anyway!

Fire it up! Fire it up! Fire it up!

Bonjour et bienvenue.

So glad you are here to join me for Catatonic #299. That’s right 299! And it seems like far too long since we skinned a cat doesn’t it?

Ways to skin a cat #37: En Flambe.

So there you go. I’ll see you on Sunday for #300!

Thanks for stopping by.

11 plus: sounds like a cut off point for Catholic Priests.

Good morning to you and you and you.

I hope the day finds you in good spirits with the hope of drinking better ones.

Animal Testing.

Class dismissed, but, as ever, thanks for stopping by.

Hi diddly howdy hi ho to you all,

So we did it-365 days, 205 posts and 278 glorious cat based funnies! Is that not just the cat’s pyjama’s or what?

Well we’ve alot to get through today so lets waste no time- first up an amazing guest comic from the brilliant Tom Buddle. Let me hand you over to the man himself:

I would like to point out that despite the content of this “comic” I am in fact a cat owner and lover. This is simply an attempt to derive humour from one of the only words left in the English language Ben has not all ready done a funny off of.
Thanks for stopping. Bye!

How amazing is that!! Thanks again, Buddle.

But that’s not all, oh no- here’s a wondrous birthday gift from the insanely talented Paul Loudon:

Wowzers, right? Cheers Paul.

But today’s is a post that keeps on giving with this little Fan Art gem from Andy:

My TV is a Catatonic

 Sweet! Ta muchly, sir.

And here’s my strip of the day:

Cat on heat.

And as an extra special treat if you click here I’ll show you the development of this cartoon from sketchbook to blog!

How’s that for a slice of fried gold?

Now this has been a very busy year for me as I have not only been drawing Catatonic I have also created My TV is Evil and modern life is awesome as well as designing a couple of posters and opening night cards along the way. It has been a lot of work but I can honestly say I’ve never been happier.

Here’s to many years to come. Thank you again to Tom, Paul and Andy for their contributions to today’s post and to Lou for the Staedtler Triplus Color Pens that have added that extra dimension to my cartoons. Thank you to everyone who has commented on the blog and bouyed my sense of worth as well as improved the jokes. But most importantly:

Thanks to YOU for stopping by.

I hope I see you again soon.

London Calling.

Bonjour et bien venue.

Well I made it back ‘Daan Saaarf’ and in the process proved beyond any doubt that coaches, for me,  are no longer an option. Perhaps it is with age that I no longer wish to compromise on comfort but whatever it is I’m more than happy with it. That’s right, my friends; at the age of 30 and three quarters I have come to the decision that, no matter how good a saving it seems, I no longer travel by coaches for long trips! Add to that my refusal to stay in hostels when on holiday and we see that my transition into middle age is running along smoothly.

Ways to Skin a Cat #63: Zombie Apocalypse!

Catatonic #250!!

Good morning and welcome back for this most joyous of occassions; Catatonic #250! Time, I feel for a little self back-slapping, after all I never thought I would be so disciplined as to make it this far. A big thank you to all of you who have found me and stuck with me, for your support and encouragement, and for your excellent ideas that it has been my pleasure to steal. Anyhoo- without further ado, Catatonic #250:

Ways to Skin a Cat #97: The Carpet Burn.

And if you thought that one was good you can now click here for a page devoted purely to the skinning of cats! Once you’ve given them a perusal why not head over and have a look at my other webcomic My TV is Evil?

Well that’s me for now, join me again soon as we push for the 300, and as always; ‘Thanks For Stopping By.’

The other other white meat.

Morning follicles- I feel it is time for a visit to the darkside of Catatonic and another example of the many ways to skin a cat.

Ways To Skin A Cat #78: The Korean Buffet.

Until next time; thanks for stopping by.
